COSTS AND TIMESCALES
The most common question we get asked in advance is how
much is a web site going to cost and how long will it take
to build.
Building a web site is a little like the house building
industry (it's why some web site designers have interesting
titles such as 'web architect'): constructing a cottage
will cost a little and be done fairly quickly, building
Buckingham Palace is right at the other end of the scale.
You can get a simple four or five page web site for as
little as £500, whereas something like eBay.com would
cost literally millions to build from scratch. The trick
is to find what's right to meet your business goals and
is cost-effective to run and maintain - and that's where
we come in!
Here's some prices for 2010 as a rough indication of jobs
we've done for other clients.
All these prices include initial domain name registration,
Google Analytics integration (so you can find out how many
people are visiting you web site & what they're looking
at), basic search engine optimisation and first year's hosting.
All the prices below are given net of VAT.
